Jon Ladson is a quintessential son of the South, having proudly called Colquitt County, Georgia, his home since the day he was born. Born and raised amidst the rich farmlands of this vibrant community, Jon's roots run deep, anchoring him firmly to the values of hard work, integrity, and stewardship of the land.
After graduating from Colquitt County High School in 1990, Jon embarked on an academic journey that would lay the foundation for his successful career in agricultural management. He earned his Associate's Degree from ABAC in 1993 before furthering his education at Albany State University, where he graduated with a degree in business management in 1995.
Jon's dedication to the agricultural sector became evident early in his career when he assumed the role of general manager at Farmer's Gin & Peanut Company and Ellenton Peanut Company. For an impressive 27 years, he has led these enterprises with a steady hand, navigating the challenges of the industry while championing innovation and excellence.
But Jon's commitment to farming extends beyond the boardroom. For nearly three decades, he has stewarded 3500 acres of cotton and peanuts, recognizing the profound importance of responsible land management in ensuring the sustainability of future generations.
In his personal life, Jon is a devoted husband to his wife, Payge Ladson, with whom he has shared 27 years of love and partnership. Through his unwavering dedication to his family, his profession, and his community, Jon Ladson embodies the very essence of Southern hospitality, resilience, and integrity. He stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of the American farmer, whose toil and tenacity nourish not only the body but also the soul of the nation.
