Don Parrish was born and raised in the quiet town of Pavo, Georgia. He grew up on a farm in Thomas County with both parents and siblings focused on growing corn, livestock, peanuts and produce. At a young age, his father paved the way for the family to enjoy quail hunting as they raised over seventy-five pointers, setters and Brittany spaniels. Don managed an aluminum and sign supply company for over twenty years growing his passion for collectibles. His career connected him with many buyers and sellers of vintage signs, advertising collectibles and petroliana. Having met many collectors through the years expanded his interests into Indian artifacts, coinage, and firearms. Don enjoys spending time on the farm with his extensive livestock collection and most importantly with family, especially with his grandchildren.
